I believe therapy is a partnership with the client, therapist, and any other professionals who are providing health services. Through utilizing a strength-based perspective, I strive to ensure that my clients leave each session not only with coping techniques but also with a better understanding of their diagnoses and what resources they can store in their coping skills toolbox. My therapeutic modality of choice is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I feel in many cases, it helps the client challenge negative thoughts, find unhealthy patterns and better cope with obstacles.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in African Studies with a minor in Psychology. Further, I have a Master of Social Work Degree, both from Rutgers the State University of New Jersey. I have additional certifications in Violence Against Women and Children, Clinical Supervision, and School Social Work. I look forward to working with you on your journey!
